I'm a San Francisco Bay Area Web Designer looking to take my scripting language knowledge to the next level. I thought I'd start with a database idea - anything would work, just get a database going, connect to the database with PHP and start running all sorts of queries on the data.
The Digital Music Database is really just a portfolio exercise who's aim is to have a data-driven web site, and expand my PHP/MySQL knowledge. So why not put my music online, and find ways to introduce functionality and play with PHP?
Originally created for music, I plan to include comedy and other audio-related things, and I'm open to suggestions. You can browse, search, add, and modify records in the database.
This site will ultimately be responive, and is slowly getting that way, but still has a ways to go before it's considered fully responsive.
